Healthy tacos with a few simple ingredients - get ready for a delicious «tacos night»!

You might think that Mexican food is a bit complicated, but the reality can be different. You can make them in your home too, quickly, easily and deliciously!

Make tacos with simple ingredients

You will need (for 2 people):

  • 500gr ground beef
  • a pack of tacos (you will definitely find the "Old El Paso" - also the kit with ready spice mixture and sauce)
  • 1 onion
  • spices of your choice (such as paprika, chili, cumin, oregano, garlic powder)
  • corn (frozen)
  • grated cheese of your choice (such as regato)
  • 4-5 cherry tomatoes

  In a saucepan, grate the onion and add 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil. Saute for a while and then add the beef. Keep stirring for 5-10 minutes until the beef is no longer red. It's time to add our spices (if we want of course), salt and 3/4 cup of water. Cover with the lid and let cook for 15 minutes on a low heat, stirring occasionally. Uncover the pan and wait if necessary until water evaporates.

  Prepare the corn (just boil it in a pot of water and salt for 10 minutes). Chop the tomatoes and place your ingredients in separate bowls.

  When you are ready to eat, heat tacos for 3-4 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. For an interactive dinner, place all the ingredients on the table (meat, corn, cheese, cherry tomatoes, tacos) and let your guests "assemble" them!


- Leave your imagination free and add to your tacos ingredients that you like. Some ideas: chopped lettuce, grated carrot, grated cabbage, fresh onions, beans, cottage cheese and so on.

- Tacos are a full meal, but if you want something to add to the table, prepare a plate of cut vegetables or plain rice.
